(24 Oct 16 Mon) Kidzania again!

It was the Monday after Arise night so it was a school holiday. Having bought discounted tickets from AIA which was a corporate sponsor of Kidzania, we headed to Sentosa for a day of fun!

First stop - haha bak kwa shop! no queue, phew.

The very handsome chef with an adorable grin

It was not as crowded as that time when they came with the school, but definitely not as empty as the time when we came for the soft launch. So thankful that Uncle XS gave us the passes then, it was really such an awesome experience.

Chefs in training

I thought they could bring the bak kwa which they made. Unfortunately, they did not. Alas alas. I was looking forward to some delicious BBQ pork.

There was a toddlers' room for little jun. It was modelled like a house, this was the living room.

There was a ball pit for the little ones to get some bouncing action.

This was a bouncy bedroom, complete with bouncy beds, it was really pretty.

The staff gave jun a stuffed dog, he seemed to take a liking to it.

2nd stop - at the dentist. Again, no queue! Hurray, and just the two of them.

Getting some hands-on experience.

They even got free tubes of toothpaste from the vending machine.

While waiting for the kids to be done, papa carried jun to explore the place

3rd stop - Police officers

It was a collaboration between the firefighters and police officers, pretty nifty idea.

The police officers cordoned off the area and kept people away from the burning scene while the firefighters extinguished the fire in the blazing building

4th stop - Air crew

They had to make announcements and serve food

back to the toddlers' section

while jie went for the fashion show modelling, the boys had a whale of a time in the toddlers' area

it really looked like as comfy living room

where one could lounge on the sofa

the kitchen was well furnished

jun raided the fridge

gor was whipping up a storm

tong helped me to take a photo. I was waiting for the food to be served.

Meanwhile, the acting academy was lacking one person to act in the ninja turtle show and they approached jie jie.

though she had done it before, she reasoned that going for the show was better than waiting for the modelling one to start

here, the legendary fearsome ninja turtles

She definitely looked cute in that costume

ah, taking a photo with the character she was acting, her favourite colour, purple

Next up - learning to be a paramedic/doctor for tong

Jie was not around so she did not manage to join this batch

the very attentive doctor

I was asked to be the injured party, ah, they used lipstick to create this wound

oh my brave knight in shining white coat appeared

I got a ride in the ambulance and took a photo of the adorable little ones who kept asking if I was REALLY injured

Well, they put a bandage on my arm and whisked me to take it off in a booth and let me out via a separate door so that the kids would think that I was really wounded, ha.

Last stop - at the shop. Tong wanted a dinosaur keychain which was 150 kidzos but jie wanted an octopus keychain which was 100 kidzos. they had about 230 kidzos in cash so she told tong that his was too expensive. Tong had to settle for a bulldozer and was rather disappointed.Jie forgot that they had some money in the atm cards too and she felt very apologetic about it, she kept saying sorry to tong and admitted that she neglected the atm cards and would give him a dinosaur toy which she got from Matthew.

ha the jailbirds.

They wanted to go to the beach..but papa was going for a wake later, we had played for an entire day, it was time to head home.

Check out their dramatic expressions.

Playing at the playground which we passed by...

So what a magnificent day...the kids wished they could come back again...hmmm considering how expensive the tickets were...I supposed that would be a long time later.

Wonderful, awesome day spending time together!
