(Dec 15) Christmas at Prive, church, Linear and Suntec

Well, this was the very first present that tong got to open before CNY. We were at the Robinson Sale in the afternoon and this caught tong's attention. however, we did not buy it as he had clocked his quota of toys for the year.

Yet in the evening, papa went shopping there with his colleague and this caught  his eye too and he instantly thought tong would love it... ha..talked about telepathy.

and yes, amazingly sarahbelle had lingered for a long time at this box this afternoon and could not believe it when papa came in through the door with the coveted item.

so yeah...the pile at the bottom grew and grew

the pile of presents mama had prepared for friends and relatives grew too

it was a blessing to be able to give. mama and papa were joyful to be able to bless others...we had been blessed by many people along the way...blessings had a way of going around

Suntec

went to Suntec one day and spotted this tree in the waters...oooo

the sky park at suntec had been transformed

there were chic, elegant restaurants

one jap restaurant intrigued xun and i promised we would come back for lunch some day...papa always commented that you two were atas bears

well, we absolutely had to take a picture of all the christmas trees we spotted

ha, walked past a photography shop and they had this makeover promotion. xun wanted to dress up as Elsa but tong declined.

however, took the opportunity to sneak some shots of him with the rustic charming backdrop

while jie felt like a pampered superstar

ha model in the making?

grins...but jie was not exactly photogenic, like mama...we looked better in person...maybe coz we had chubby cheeks and chins? well...papa sagaciously remarked that it was better to be good looking in person

we chose this photo in the end. $10 for a makeover experience, not too bad at all.

so my little Elsa had her fun

something about places of attraction fascinated the two of you...you were always asking to go for exploration to the flyer, river cruises, museums...

we came this Alive museum before, perhaps we could try Trick eye museum on Sentosa next time?

mama hardly took photographs. this was my little joey, who always slept like a log inside the carrier but would wake up instantly touching the bed. strange eh? wai po comforted that he would not be tiny for very long, so let us treasure the koala bear times.

there was a suntec membership booth and ou just needed to download the app and would be treated to this humongous puffy cotton candy ball...it was more air than sugar, but it delighted you nonetheless

this came up on our FB, which meant we had been back from USA for 4 plus years. How could time have gone by without us noticing?

Block party at Linear
our first party and we got to know our neighbours from downstairs better. jie went onto the stage to help the magician and it thrilled her, till today she would still talk about the  magician's corny jokes, like he asked them to yell hey presto and they would but he would misunderstand it as bely potato and accuse them of teasing him.

ya mama knew, kids found this kind of corniness to be the best.

it was very enjoyable and we even won a standing fan!The prizes were good and there were some families who won many prizes. would definitely join next year if there was one again.

Prive at Keppel Bay

such an exclusive and posh residential area, xun exclaimed that she would want to live in one. mama would be rooting for and cheering you on.

sat in the airy and windy alfresco area, the wind was so strong that it blew our menus away several times. balmy and soothing

there was a playground so the kids could entertain themselves...could not wait for jun to be able to join in the fun too

had lunch with two of mama's closest friends - aunt xinyi and aunt karen...

the kids enjoyed hanging out together too

joshua was still too young to join, hopefully aunt xinyi and aunt karen would have babies this year, so we could have lots of children gambolling together in future

Church

just had to take a photo of jie jie and the crazy ways she was found sleeping sometimes...like sprawled like a starfish, or hair all over her face...some unflattering postures

mama liked this romper coz it said "handsome like daddy'

the children's church always had such splendid and magnificent balloon displays, they were most amazing. and the kids loved to high-five the servers, it was like one of the highlights about going to church

an exceptionally sweet christmas

there were even mascots after the service..

while jie loved having photographs with them, tong absolutely refused to.

well...christmas, christmas, certainly one of our favourite festivals in singapore!
