(Dec 15) lots of christmas celebrations - Aquarius Cove, FIVE at Great Eastern Centre, Polliwogs

It was the season of joy and fun...we were so busy, our days were mostly packed with activities...haha...auntie Karen said that she was on leave for some days and asked if we could meet...eh...mama revealed that we had planned for activities all the way to the last week of December

the triple chin baby, ah ma gushed that it was inherited from her

jie seemed to have grown taller suddenly, tong used to reach her nose? We went to the polyclinic for the first time for didi's first month check up. Mama reckoned that we should be more prudent so we should utilize the subsides from the government. Well, the trip cost $90 (dr $50, hep b $40), of which we paid nothing! papa checked the heights and weights of the rascals, xun was 116cm, 20kg and tong was 101 cm and 15kg! WOAH. jie had grown. ah gong liked it when jie was fleshier, he thought she looked better.

tong the football rocker

opps, he started bawling

Clarke Quay - Clarke Quay Mall

Went to Clarke Quay for lunch with our favourite cousin

Aquarius Cove at Carpenter Street

Aquarius Cove. Very tiny place, but we managed to stay there for 6 hours? It was the hols and each play was supposed to last 2 hours, but it was rather empty so the staff allowed us to stay alllll the way. wahaha

it had a marine theme, cool

the trio went wacky on the dolphin ride, chasing one another and spinning it really fast

a corner of some rocking toys...aunt val and I thought it would have been better if they made use of this space better and put more static toys or even created a costume play area

oh didi, waiting for the day you would go and play with the rest

a colourful rock climbing wall...oh...fish climbing wall?

the usual ball pits...you spent a big portion of time playing hide-and-seek with a mineral water bottle and this was a common hiding place

sitting area overlooking the outside

oh the banquet hall just downstairs. Qianxi restaurant occupied the entire place, thought it was rather clever of them to convert the 5th floor into an indoor playground so they could attract people to host birthday parties here

ha the lookout...which looked like the one in Polliwogs

a submarine! Quite cool

we were ravenous, as usual, at 4 pm. the kids were especially starving after play, so all of us gobbled up the snacks

Time always passed so quickly when we were with friends. mama loved going out with Aunt Val, we would chit chat, surf on phones...and you all would have a whale of a time on your own..haha

Went for dinner...oh and spotted this beautiful restaurant, but it was fully booked for an event...the kids were disappointed...well we did come back some weeks later. heh

so the crestfallen kids took a photo at the entrance...coincidentally, xun and JJ were wearing matching pink tees...ha

FIVE at Great Eastern Centre

dated Aunt Xinyi and Tiffany to FiVe for brunch..mama read about this new outlet, which was somewhat like a super atas food court to me. There were a few food stalls, the prices were higher like $10 plus...there was ample seating space, it was very quiet on a weekend...and

there was a play area for kids!

bouncy castle...eh..but you all complained of the sweltering heat and only played for a short while

After brunch, Aunt Xinyi and Tiffany came to our house. It was pouring and we waited till evening before the sky finally brightened up! ha

they stayed till midnight, wow, we all slept like dead logs when they were gone. What a day.

Polliwogs at Vivocity

we always loved to meet up with Aunt Wansun, Aunt Eritha and Aunt Melissa. Yay, got to see yaya and Mabel

our childhood friends, hoped our friendship would continue to blossom

Wan Sun ah yi took a photo while carrying tim, she gushed about how adorable and chubby he was...orrrr the grumpy look reminded me of the baby tong tong. that day, we sent the passport photos to er yi so that she could buy the cruise tickets. tong mentioned how his baby photo looked like tim and they might think tim had two passports! haha

Random pictures

caught a loving moment of the two belly sleepers..haha

jie jie and tong loved tim tim sooo much...

the boys were catching a nap together...ha

went to MBS and saw all the white balls...jie wished she could find the one she wrote on

ha, down memory lane, mama first started my fb when we went to USA

one of the days when we chilled at home...we bought this food craft from Harbourfront, so we decided to play

sushi set...ha...well...it was fun, though the food definitely did not turn out like the picture

got new bags! nowadays you two would carry your own barangs...

definitely beneficial for mama's poor shoulders

bought some fake snow from taobao and you two were nagging at me to let you play with them

it had this soapy floury texture, you two spent a good hour plus alone in the kitchen..but the cleaning up was horrendous...ARGH...maybe we should play on the grass patch in future

tong enjoyed having his hair cut, unlike some kids whom I heard would always make a din when they headed to the barber. perhaps he was like papa, who cut his hair every 3 weeks and liked it really short

aunt wen jun gave this to xun and she was so captivated by it...orrrr...

it was so great catching up with friends...am grateful, deeply grateful for the friends we are blessed with...what joy...deep deep joy
