(10 July 13 Wed) Baking with papa and random photos

OH, we had recently developed an interest in baking. It arose from the idea mama got after talking to a mummy, Joanne, from the Orange building school, who would use over ripe bananas to make banana cake. Ah Gong bought lots of bananas for us and they would often be discarded as mama could not finish them alone. I found a super easy peasy recipe for banana cake and we had a great success with it. Tonight, we thought we would be adventurous and bake TWO cakes.

While Tong was sleeping, the three of us busied ourselves in the kitchen...

You liked to call yourself the little helper...

Ah ha, we added nutella to the banana cake...

You could bake this for your children...when you become a mummy : )

The very serious daddy...

Waiting in anticipation! We got a new mitten and you loved it and wanted to help me push the trays in...

It was a long wait for you...waiting and waiting...

Random photos...
It was Thursday, gathering at Wai po's house as usual...you seemed so elated to see papa and climbed onto his back and rested there...You were so cute, as cute as a bug..you had so many expressions, like how you would fold your arms, pout, said "no" and shake your head when you wanted to reject somebody..And your ravenous look as you flitted from person to person to ask for food. You would gobble anything...like ikan bilis, spicy chips, brown rice, soup...everything...When you wanted to meddle with the food, wai po would raise her voice and you would behave, glancing at her direction every few minutes to spy if she was still staring at you...and of course, the most endearing part would be how you clambered up the sofa to embrace her everytime before you went home...

You were getting on so well with papa now. In the past, on Sats when mama worked, you would wake up and cried badly when you did not find me sleeping beside u. Nowadays when you saw papa on sat mornings, you understood that I had gone out and would stick to and play with papa...

mama bought a really gorgeous dress from taobao recently. Well, I was contemplating if I should start up a blog shop with my sisters...heh...your xiaoyi lamented to Wai po that mama was the prettiest of the sisters and stated it was somewhat unfair. Laugh...

We were at Daiso and you tried on the Halloween hats, well it was only July! Xun, you said we should pretend to go trick or treating in the Halloween hats. sometimes I really wondered where you learnt all these stuff from...I recalled we read a book on Halloween before...hmmm or did you learn from the nick junior cartoons?

Tong tong was my little helper too, sometimes he would carry all the diapers and clothes to throw all of them together into the kids' red laundry basket...do you remember your laundry basket?

One particular day, xiaoyi lured the two of you into the room so mama could sneak away to go to work. Well, the two of you did not cry at all and were soon having a whale of a time with xiaoyi. heh...xiaoyi always commented that you two behaved like angels when I was not around, wai po was toooo fierce to be trifled with...I mean, even at almost 32 years old, mama was still afraid to be reprimanded by her... ha...

love you sweeties, I wish I could hold on to you forever, have you in bed right beside me and know you adore me absolutely and think the world of me now...
