[29 Jul] Day at the beach & overdue post

Hi Xun and Tong, so papa has not been very diligent in maintaining the blog heh. Mama is the one who has been actively updating this blog, but papa should not be too lazy hor? so here goes...

today was a fun day. We went to Rick's 2nd birthday, it was at the sky garden at Soleil. it was awesome! but i'm sure mummy will be blogging about it since she has the pictures on her camera haha. i shall blog about the 2nd part of the day - to the beach!
                                                    
Check out our new child seats! Ah Gong fixed the 2 child seats for Xun and Tong, and even fixed a basket at the front. so considerate of Ah Gong. He's always thinking of the 2 of you. when you all grow up, you all must take care of Ah Gong ya?

At the beach! Ah Gong complains that he can never get the both of you to look at the camera at the same time haha. 

You 2 just love digging at the beach. we really didn't do much, but yet you 2 are so happy just sitting there, and playing with the sand. whether it was making sand castles, building sand molds.. or just playing with the little bit of sea water haha. you 2 are a joy and blessing to daddy and mummy!

by the time we were done, xun was super duper tired. you could not resist sleep, and ended up lying on daddy's back as i peddled back home. mummy says its so romantic hahaha. daddy had to cycle with 1 hand, and used my right hand to hold on to Xun just so that you wouldn't fall. well, it just felt good that i was peddling hard for my 2 sweethearts, and even holding on & protecting my precious daughter. do know that daddy will always be there for you 2, and will hold on to you all even if it takes all my strength just to hold on. =)

As the title suggests, i'm supposed to write about what happened last week heh. but actually mummy had already covered it! its gonna be tough trying to recall what happened last sat. i remember that you 2 rascals woke up really early! mummy didn't have a chance to run out of the house yet, when you 2 got up! heh. in the end, we went for breakfast together, then we dropped mummy off at her facial appointment. Xun was ok, but Tong was a little upset. Thankfully papa had a secret up his sleeves! i brought you 2 to Vivocity for an adventure! we went to the water play area, and you 2 had a superb time. papa took a chair and sat there reading papers while you 2 occupied yourselves running from 1 end to the other haha. it was quite an easy hour to get by hee. after the water adventure, papa brought you 2 to Giant and we... GOT OUR SCOOTERS!! heh. i think it was a worthy $68 spent, since you 2 really love going down the ramp at Linear!

More overdue pictures and posts haha. saturdays are daddy days heh. mummy goes for her rest before work, then daddy has to transform to penguin daddy and take care of the 2 babies! this is one of our favourite activity - swimming! introducing, Xun the kitten!

 This is Tong the Lion!

 my 2 cuties all ready to go swimming. *heart melts* i am always thankful that daddy god trusted us enough, to give us these 2 sweethearts.

 Recently Tong has grown so much more affectionate to me. he calls "papa" very often now, and apparently he clamours for papa whenever i'm not around. heh. mama says he will wake up and ask for papa. and will even look at my photo. awwww... and in this shot, tong tong climbs onto papa (just like how jie jie likes to piggy back!) and hugs papa. my my my. another heart melting moment heh

oh! this is a simple shot, but there's a long story behind it! so last sat, papa and mama went on a date, cos it was our 6th wedding anniversary! we got married on 20.07.2007, so we went for a nice dinner to celebrate heh. on our way to turf city, we got into a minor accident. it was 4-car chain collision, and our black umi-car was the first car. well, to cut a long story short, papa and siao shu both struck first prize in the lottery with the number of the last car 6623! so xiao shu promised to pay for the new tv for Ah Ma hahaha. so this is Tong with Ah Gong holding the new tv that we bought for Ah Ma! woo hoo!

ok, last picture for the post. this was us some time back. when umi-car was sent for servicing heh. and we took the bus to the Singapore Discovery Centre! it's fun going on weekly adventures with the 2 of you. looking forward to many more adventures to go! hugz.
