(11 Jul Thurs) Royce Gym indoor playground

A drizzly grey morning...we set off to Royce Gym! It was a galore of toys, toys and MORE TOYS. Of course, both of you were jubilant. You always relish indoor playgrounds...

 

There were so many doll houses...you loved to walk the dolls up and down the stairs while muttering to yourself...

While Tong tong challenged one of the few slides around...

before catching a glimpse of his favourite trains....

They added plenty of novel toys...toys that mama never had the chance to own when she was young..

It was a fun place, it even had an area for swings... ha...

Up another slide...

Tea party time...

They devoted a significant amount of space for cooking sets, there must be like countless sets of different utensils sets, food sets, kitchen sets...

You pretended to be an ice cream vendor

Tong could not decide between the BMW or Ferrari before settling on trusty BMW

 

There was a section for the extreme roller coaster ride... you were a scaredy cat and decided not to try...

but the daredevil tong did!

Another section where there was simply an opulence of toys, toys, all kinds of imaginable toys...you name it, it would probably be there...

It was going into a never-ending toy world

Jie jie decided to be an astronaut working at the space station...

Then pretended to work in the office with her laptop and telephone...we both pretended to work in the office, ha...

then as a nurse while tong was the doctor...

Catching some quiet at the cosy reading corner...

then pretending to be adults, you feeding the baby in the cot while tong had to clean the house... hahaha...

well I suppose tong would make a good hubby, he was already practising to feed the baby at such a tender age...

enough of the commoner existence, now it was time to be glamorous...

and as Belle...look at that demure post... you seemed all geared up for a beauty pageant!

Two hours later, I wanted to go home and both of you were still beseeching for yet a few more minutes...since we bought the membership, we would definitely come back again sweethearts...

mama loves you. thank you for being my little precious. Thank you Daddy God for entrusting me with two such beautiful children who are growing more and more in your image each day...Amen.

P/S: (23/7) a separate occasion when tong was aslp so you and I went to Royce ourselves while daddy brought tong to go to Audio house to buy a TV with ah Gong for Ah Ma : )



You got so taken with wearing princess gowns. I told you that you had one at home and you immediately asked for it once we reached home. It was a Cinderalla's gown that we got for you when you were only 1plus in USA. You were now 3 and  it fitted perfectly. Heartened to see that you and tong tong were learning to share and play together. Sometimes, both of you would be chasing each other around the house, guffawing and shrieking, music to my ears.

Then you put on the Rapunzal's dress and I convinced you to try the wig! I thought that was a really cheeky grin and princessy pose. ha.



You did not like the wig, preferring your own hair. ha. I loved your exuberance. You were so dramatic and always gave such funny expressions. Daddy always tsked me and asked sardonically, "I wonder whom she got it from..."

Then you wanted me to try it on and even took the picture for me! Your photo taking skills were improving...I said, I looked good in this hairdo!

 

Then we attempted to have a kissing shot...ha...



Oh the beautiful princess, waiting for her prince charming to rescue her. You loved to hear stories of princesses trapped in tall towers and waiting for the valiant prince to come and save you...

I suppose princesses can do plebeian work too like pumping petrol. You were sad to leave and told me you would put on a princess gown every time you come before going to play with the toys. Well, we would be coming frequently since we bought the package.

Meanwhile, tong was shopping at Audio House with Ah Gong. Daddy posted this photo on FB and ppl commented that he looked so serious and grumpy.
