Ya, Xun, you insisted on wearing the bridal hairbands all the time. Well, that really made a pretty sight. Wai po shared a really comical story with me that day. She said there was a day when tong did not want to nap so she snapped at the two of you to go and sleep and went off to do her chores. Tong was whining and whimpering and you took a blank notebook and started telling him stories. Whenever you finished, tong would ask for MORE and you would oblige. You would say in a firm voice, "last story, Tong" (I guessed you were mimicking how mama talked) but Tong would ask for MORE and you would continue. Well, Wai po said the two of you eventually fell asleep. Wai po loved you, she said you were the most understanding and teachable child she had ever seen.

| Ah Ma bought this Ariel Duplo set for you. It was really cool, we could create a swing and slide and I liked that bendy vine. |

Oh and we revamped the playroom. Now that you were older, we had given away some of the toys and bought new ones! The ever resourceful mama bought this Mother Garden wooden dressing table from a forum spree, so it was really affordable! $150! And we got a party set too which came in a really nifty box. And it was only $40!
The funny thing was tong tong would sit at the table and put on make up too. ARGHhhh...laugh...

| Argh, what else but trucks and toys for TONG. this was neat, the upper tier could be lowered...ha...like some transformer toy. |
Yeh, tong's train table. yeh mum asked San yi to buy and ship directly from China, yeh san yi was even more intelligent and resourceful than mama. Mama bought things from China via an agent but San Yi could do her own shipping! Yeh, so...really great price, like $150? You would never be able to find such a good deal here.
The two of you watched many advertisements when you watched OKTO at wai po's house. Argh...those enticing alluring ads with toys...you told me tong wanted to buy this SHARK Thomas toy set. ha. Thomas would go into the mouth, slide down the ramp, activate some lever to drop the shark onto a carriage...heh well tong played with it for a few days and it was now lying forlornly near the christmas tree. heh....well, we could play for hours if I took the time to sit with you two in the playroom. Yeh...when december was over, we would go back to our regular routines of playing at home, visiting the indoor playgrounds and visiting the libraries.
You know, tong was growing up so rapidly. Alot of times, mama wondered if he really understood what I was asking as he seemed to be able to comprehend my questions. Many times, we would be talking with papa and he would blurt out in laughter at comic timing and I was puzzled if he really knew what was going on.
That day, I was going through some worksheets with you and taught you about bears living in dens and he could answer when I asked which animals lived in dens. Then when we took ah gong's car today, i told ah gong that papa went to play golf. I asked tong if he knew how to play and he replied NO. When asked if he would like to learn, he said YES. ha. and he had been rejecting ah ma when she offered porridge. If he said no and ah ma still fed him, he would not open his mouth.
Yeh, xun when you were tong's age, you were talking all the time...very well and clearly. Eh...tong was still pretty incoherent but people always said boys were slower. He did speak a full sentence that day, "cat go home" haha.
You know, sometimes I noticed that there were several views on the different blog entries and I wondered who had been reading them. Mama had been really secretive about this so I could write to my heart's content on personal stuff and only shared with a couple of SLA friends, Grandma Joanne and Auntie A. Erm...papa was the most ardent supporter, erm then where did the other views come from? Mysterious.
Sweet sweet dreams, sweethearts. Orrr, blogging always took a couple of hours nowadays with so much updates. Well, writing was cathartic for mama...I loved to write, especially when I felt moody, it expelled all the gloominess away as I recalled how blessed I was to be able to work part time and not worry about finances and we were really leading a very comfortable life. Kudos to papa for supporting mama in my decision and providing amply for us. And of course...coz Jesus died poor so we could be rich and He always opens the right doors and places us at the right place at the right time, meeting the right people. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
