Sweetheart was turning 4 in two weeks' time. It was amazing how fast time flew, she had grown into, in papa's words, intelligent, sharp, beautiful, athletic and confident girl! That day, they had a funny conversation.
papa: xun xun, you tell everyone that you are a princess!
xun: no daddy, i didn't tell everyone. "everyone" is too many people. I only tell those that i meet.
We thought you had the makings of a lawyer, was extremely smart and sure knew one or two witty retorts. Well...could not look forward to your teenage years enough...wahahaha.
| matching wear. You loved dressing up in matching wear with mama. |
That day, papa came back in his dashing formal wear and asked to take photos with his sweetheart.
Was telling papa how you made friends with ease nowadays. You still felt hurt when people rejected or ignored you, but we taught you that we would always love you and Jesus would always love you no matter what. That day, we went to JEM playground and you met two eurasian boys. The 3 of you had a great time but ended up squabbling...it was most strange. I thought it looked like lovers having a tift...oh well...you know, your boyfriends are gonna have a hard time from daddy right?
I love you so much, little sweetheart. Your precious-moment eyes, your chubby cherubic cheeks, your little double chin that appears when you put on weight, the wispy hair, the sweet fragrance, the lanky body...the loving heart, how you always take care of tong, how you always utter "I love you, mum" when I do something for you...love you deeply, madly, truly.
