We were planning to go to Plaza's library. On the way there, we passed by the LRT station and the two of you pleaded with mama to take a train ride. So, we changed the destination to Lot 1 instead.
| It looked like a M&M christmas tree. |
| Guess what captured the kids' attention? |
| Ooo, lots of hanging balls and fairy lights. It was a pretty sight. |
Next, to the library. They actually decorated a corner and it was so festive and beautiful, it even had some blown up bubble balls with swirling styrofoam bits inside. You would have thought this scene was set up in the toy shop and not in the library.
An hour of finding and reading books, we grabbed lunch and headed to the amphi- theatre 25 minutes ahead of time to secure a seat. Mama was concerned that we might have to queue, as evinced by the previous two shows we had caught. Great thing that it was in the suburbs and on a tues afternoon, the crowd was average so we sat near to the stage. It was sheltered so it was not too hot.

| Elvin the elf |
He asked some questions and you insisted that you wanted to go up too. So i encouraged you to try, even though I knew you would not know the answers as we never read the Mr Men and Little Miss books. You did get picked to go up! The question was, "What was the colour of Mr Bump?" I told you the answer before you went up but you could have forgotten in your nervousness on the stage. The elf prompted you that it was the colour of your top and you answered correctly in an almost inaudible voice, "Blue." Mama did not know what emboldened you to want to go to the stage but I was proud that you were so courageous!

| I whatsapped the photo to my sisters and the Tay Family chat groups and they both commented you looked rather somber. hahaha. |
| Jiving to the christmas tunes. The story was about how the characters wanted to put up a rock concert and asked the children to join. |
| One of mama's favourite characters, Miss Sunshine. In fact, mama's classmates once bought a Mr Men and Little Miss book for every one in the class and they bought Miss Tiny for mama. Hmmm, I did not think I was exactly very tiny...oh well...haha at least it was not Miss Picky or something. But one character I would really like to be would be Miss Sunshine, full of cheer and good spirits. |
| I thought you would fancy being Miss Princess as she had a tiara and was such a bubbly pink. |
| They cute Mr Bump in bandages and Mr Strong who loved eggs. |
| I did not know what these were but they sure looked interesting. |
Mr Bump was always getting into accidents. This time, he accidentally kicked the stereo and the plug came loose.
It was really enjoyable. Well, about 25 minutes, but hey, it was free and uncrowded. If mama had the means to bring you to catch all the shows in the suburbs, I would. I heard from my bukit panjang mummy friends that Junction 8 was having carebears. Well, we were going to Yew Tee Point to catch the Forever Friends show on Thurs and City Sq Mall to catch Thomas and the train show with papa on tues as he was on leave again. Papa had been really indulgent, he abhorred crowds but was wiling to queue and jostle with people for the sake of seeing your faces light up at the sight of these characters...heh...well...he probably would not endure such inconveniences for mama, you know like, maybe queuing up at a sale so mama could buy clothes...haha...but he probably would tell mama to just buy them at normal times at retail price if I really liked them.
Mama loved all of you, you all were soooo precious to mama. Thank God for blessing me with such wondrous family members. Amen.
