(17 Dec 13 Tues) Slappy cakes at Turf City

So, Slappy Cakes was a famous US chain and it set up stores on our little sunny island! The bargain-sniffing mama chanced upon a Groupon deal and here we were! In fact, I told you about it last night, it got you so reeved up that you woke up at 7+am today and could not go back to sleep. Sigh, tong woke up shortly and we set off...could not get a cab so we took a bus and hiked all the way in to Turf City on foot.

We chose buttermilk and zucchini, unfortunately both had the same mellow yellow colours so we could not create different coloured creations...

The toppings...chocolate chips, lemon curd,  banana, ham and butter. You said you wanted blueberries next time.

 Here we go...ha...you loved creating hearts...

Tong wanted...what else but trains...

I ordered a breakfast set so we could utilise the full value of voucher...it was simply too much food for three of us...

Ah, butterflies and rainbow...

 Oooo the pancakes were light and fluffy...it was really fun and delicious.

Nothing could give more satisfaction than eating your own creations...

We created a spider...and could not stomach any more food...well, we forgot to make pictures, like house, tree, cloud, sun, flowers....maybe we could go to the DIY pancake house next time and had a go at it again.

We always had such merriment exploring this fantastic little island. love you two to bits.
