Yeh Wai po had gone to China for holiday so mama and papa took leave to spend time with the precious ones. Jurong East was developing so rapidly, it was set to be the next happening and hip suburb with JEM, Jcube, Westgate and IMM. Woah, 4 megal malls in one tiny Jurong East. Mama used to hang out at Jurong East in her secondary school days and never foresaw that this quiet and laid back suburb would become so bustling one day! There were big brand stores, like Sephora, Isetan, Robinson, H&M...woah...right in the west, who needed to go to the overcrowded town anymore?
The mountain turtle papa had not set foot there for awhile so we headed to JEM on Fri.
Ok, lunched, window shopped...and tata, the play area! It was mostly sheltered, had a few artistic structures...erm..not entirely very fun in my view, but the two of you enjoyed yourself anyway! And xun had requested to go back to JEM on a few occasions!

| This green structure which looked like a crocodile? Lizard? Water was trickling down, you two were glad to walk up and down in the gentle stream... |
| Joy ride... |
| Climbing structure... |
| Commando Tong tong... |
| Xun pretending to be crawling into a cave... |
| OOo a rope bridge, but it was steep and slippery so we did not attempt it. |
| Water falls. They were not under the sheltered area, would be fun to come on a balmy day to play and splash. |
| Trampoline? |
| A mini merry-go-round. You found a friend and were elated. |
Christmas was such a beautiful season, all the malls were lit up with glittery baubles...carols were blasted and we would amble and hum to the jaunty tunes...what a season...
Checking out the Lego Toy shop...
Xun created a robot...
OK, home for a nap and we picked up papa's taiwan's friend for dinner at Marina Sq. Brought Uncle Long-de and his friend to Pu Tien restaurant for a sumptuous meal. The atrium had lots of happenings so we went to check it out while papa brought them to the Charles & Keith shop to buy some keepsakes.
| There was an interactive screen where you could see yourself on the snowy landscapes and there were polar bears roaming on the snow too. Check out yourself at the very tip of the picture... ha... |
| The only sleigh we had taken thus far... |
They even constructed Santa's home! It was really comfy and cosy.
| Towering Christmas tree... |
OK we strolled to The Flyer and played at the bouncy castle while the Taiwanese friends took a smoking break...
OK, up up to the sky now! Xun, you made a really astute observation. You commented that the capsules did not seem to be moving, I replied that they were but they were really slow. When we neared the Flyer, you noticed that they were indeed moving. You exclaimed, "mama, you are right. Now that we are closer, they are really moving!" laugh..

| The taiwanese marveled at the skyline... |
Alright, what an exciting day. Dec was always a great time to explore Singapore with papa who would take leave intermittently. Mama loved you to bits. I love you so much so much.
